- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Washington Riots - Vietnam. DESCRIPTION: One of the biggest anti-war protests in Washington. More than 20,000 wild demonstrators attempted to paralyse the city by crowding the streets and blocking traffic. 2,000 troops and over 7,000 police joined forces to clear the chaos. SHOTLIST: SV zoom back from demonstrators chaining themselves in front of cars in street - pan to cars held up. SV demo squatting, chanting & clapping. LV cars jammed up.
