Summary
COI synopsis: The traditional delicacies of Britain’s table and cellar are often forgotten but in fact, as the film shows in a gastronomic tour of the British Isles, her specialities have reached the ends of the earth. Scotland is represented by haggis, kippers, a glimpse of whisky-blending and compounding of Drambuie. The towns and cities of provincial England contribute York ham, Oxford marmalade and Stilton cheese and London has a corner of the film to itself.
