- COI synopsis: Next to the Changing of the Guard and Trafalgar Square, Madame Tussauds is one of the biggest crowd-pullers on the London tourist map. Why? What makes the world’s most famous waxworks an everlasting novelty? This week Michele Brown finds out for herself and meets all the Royal Family, Picasso and the Beatles for the first time, as well as the people behind the scenes whose job is to stare at the famous and bring them to life in wax.
