- COI synopsis: The toughest men in the world can kick and punch with blows that could kill - they are the karate fighters, those Kung Fu heroes that have perfected the ancient Japanese art of self defence. This year the karate champions of the world are British. Gail Spiro finds out what this particular form of martial art is all about and has a go at breaking a few bricks herself.
