British Pathe synopsis: "The big harvester, getting in the crops of the great North West, is a well-known figure on the Canadian Landscape - " Low angle shot of a field of barley or wheat. M/S of a combine harvester moving towards, then passing the camera. Various shots of the crop being harvested. C/U of the cutting tool. M/S of man sewing shut a sack of grain on the back of the harvester. The sack is then placed on a chute at the side of the machine. It falls down onto the ground as the harvester moves along. "But, there still remain farmers reluctant to desert old friend Dobbin...no matter how big the job is...as in this unique picture." M/S of a horse drawn harvester moving towards the camera. M/S of the backs of the horses from on top of the harvester - there are a lot of horses, about twenty pulling the one harvester. - Keywords
