Summary

NoS Summary - Sports day - young women compete in various events.
British Pathe synopsis: "College girls, living pictures of health - and guaranteed not a pain the eye...!" M/S of group of girls wearing the same outfits marching towards the camera. They wear dark shorts and white shirts with little jaunty white hats. They march past the camera. High angle shot of women in rows marching across a sports field. "New ideas in teams work for the girls." M/S of the girls in lines holding onto ropes. The two teams then run along in a race. They run along the edge of a lake - there are lots of spectators. M/S of a board being towed behind a boat moving towards the camera with what looks like a woman doing a headstand on the boat - hard to make out. "All together" M/S of the girls running along joined by ropes. Closer view of the woman headstanding on the board as it is pulled through the water. She falls into the water as the craft nears the camera. M/S of girls lined up as one of their number does an odd dance in front of them - they laugh. M/S of some of the girls holding on to long branches. They run along, pulling another girl along as she sits on a board.
