MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jap Prisoners - Gathering Dregs. DESCRIPTION: These pictures of Japanese prisoners in Burma reached London just about the time of Japan’s unconditional surrender was being signed aboard the "Missouri". SHOTLIST: KS Jap prisoners coming in, some wearing white clothes. Various shots of wounded prisoners brought in on stretchers and being tended later by Jap doctor and two nurses. Group of Japs eating from tins. Pan group of prisoners. Chinese girls - forced into prostitution by Japs. CU types.
