MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jerusalem’s Regent Street Blown Up. DESCRIPTION: An explosion in Ben Yehuda Street kills fifty and injures many more. The Jews blame the British Security Forces but it is thought to be the work of Arabs. SHOTLIST: KS GV street, barrier in fore. Various shots men digging amongst debris for wounded and dead. Smoke pours from buildings. Men carry stretcher to ambulance, dead person on same. MS crowds standing around watch proceedings. Man pulls up bucket of water to put out fire. GV wrecked scene with ambulance in fore. Jews hold arms to keep people back. Various GVs of scene. GV of street to finish.
