Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Another Engine for the Festival. DESCRIPTION: One of the largest single exhibits for the Festival of Britain has been brought from Glasgow to London by sea. A 173 ton locomotive of a type supplied to India. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS Engine (loco) being lifted out of hold of ship. Ship suspended from crane. SCU crane wheels being lowered onto rails on transport. Various shots of the transport passing along road. Private car lifted onto pavement to clear way. Passing under Hungerford Bridge, electric train passes over at same time. Inside Festival still on transport, near the Dome of Discovery.
