MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Horse of the Year Show. DESCRIPTION: At Harringay, the three outstanding riders in the ‘Horse Show’ were Elizabeth Anderson on Sunsalve, who tied for first place with two others. Tom Barnes on Sudden and Peter Robeson riding Craven A. They share the Fred Foster Memorial Trophy which Her Majesty presented for each winner to touch in turn. SHOTLIST: Among the toughest tests at Harringay was the floodlit Puissance event, over high fences. GV of ring. Wilf White on ‘Nizefella’. Pat Smythe falling off ‘Prince Hal’. Elizabeth Anderson on ‘Sunsalve’, Tom Barnes on ‘Sudden’. Peter Robeson on ‘Craven A’. Barnes, Anderson and Robeson tied for first place. HM the Queen presented the Fred Foster Trophy for each winner to touch in turn.
