- Summary
- COI synopsis: Clothing and fashion have changed considerably over the last sixty years...Today the picture is very different. All around us there are shops displaying ready-to-wear clothes which anyone can buy, easily and cheaply. Britain is one of Europe’s biggest producers of ready-made clothes, and the development of new fabrics, new designs and new manufacturing processes means that there is no lack of choice for the shopper, while high standards of workmanship ensure the quality of every garment sold.
