- Summary
- NoS Summary - Captain John Lee-Hudson has assembled a collection of some 2000 tropical birds for his aviary at Great Birckhill, Buckinghamshire.
- Researcher Comments
- Commentary: A London businessman gave up a £4,000-a-year job - just because he was interested in tropical birds. Flying around the aviary in the grounds of his home are exotic birds from South America. In every case it’s the male bird which outshines his mate.
