- NoS synopsis: Visits inshore fisheries in the Indian Ocean, just off the coast of Kenya, where communities of fishermen make their living from lobsters, prawns and shrimps. The Kenyan government and the British group of Ross Fisheries are helping to organise and develop the shell fish industry. One of the main centres is Lamu - for fishing and collecting, and the arrival there of the General Manager John Njeru for routine inspection of the prawn collecting boats is shown. Also shows the company’s fish warehouse in Mombasa.
