MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australia’s 150th Anniversary. SHOTLIST: New Zealand sends a warship in greeting. France sends a ship, and also Holland. The Italian cruiser "Raimondo Montecuccoli". British flying boats fly from England to Australia in greeting. Sydney dressed in gala gaiety. The Town Hall outlined in lamps. The Historic landing of Sir Phillip in the HM "Supply" planting of flag. Captain Cook, The Discovery. Memory of earliest Sydney. The tank stream with the bridge that gave the Bridge Street its name. At Elizabeth farm John Mccarthy begins to breed sheep and so laid the foundation for Australia’s greatest industry. Discovery of Gold. Fast Transport. Coal. Australians at play. Surfing. Mass of blossoms, wild flowers of the Australian bush. Float typifying the progress of New Zealand. And a float from California, a beautiful flat typical of that used every year in the festival of flowers at Pasadena.
